Seasons Greetings

This is the time of year for cheer and excitement. However, for many people this time of year cannot pass fast enough. The lost of love ones is something that people struggle with during this time.  I know I have personally struggled to have good holidays over the past 2 years, but this year I am refusing to give into those feelings.

It is time to allow Christ to carry me through this time. I want to know that I can bring joy to those close to me and I want to draw near to my friends so they can be there for me during this time. I have always tried to handle it on my own, but that is not how God wired us and my choice is to live the way He has chosen for me to live.  Thanks to all of my friends who have been there for me over the past 2 years.  I will do my best to be there for them.. Selah!

Mold me

God is always on the move, he is constantly molding us like clay. He takes our decisions and our lives and molds our hearts as we surrender to Him.  He does not wait for us to surrender in order to mold us.  It is in our darkess times that he chooses to reveal himself.  I want Christ to mold my heart so that I am alert to the enemy’s plan. I want Him to mold me in a way I can sense the brokenness in someones life. Our God is an awesome God and will stand true to His promise. He will not stop molding us into the men and women He has created us to be.  Always remember Christ chose us long before we ever thought to choose Him.. Mold Me.. Selah!

Left Behind

I want to know that everyone close to me will not be left behind.  I want to know that they have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior and will not be left behind.  There are so many things that motivate people in this life, rarely is it the fate of one’s eternal life.  It has become very important in my life to share the awesomeness and beauty of Christ.  I do not want those I care about to be left behind.

We are here for the lost and broken hearted.  This is our task and ultimately our goal should be to share the love that Christ pours over us. Do not be one who is left behind and pour into those around you so they can come along for the ride as well. AMEN
