I surrender

Hello all… Thank you for going with me through this journey.  Now, I have realized several times in my life that I need to surrender to Christ, but have always chosen my sin to get away.  Well, that time must stop and what better day to choose than Christmas.  God knew we would not be able to live without sinning and he made the decision to send Jesus for us. I am making this vow to God and my friends to keep me accountable to my life in Christ. Pray for me and know that I want to surrender my all to Christ.

A time of giving

This is the time of year that people try and figure out how many gifts they need to give.  I am one of those people, I had my list and went through it person by person.  Then as I sat today thinking about Christmas, I thought it is great to give gifts because of the reaction you get when people open the gift you got them.  Then I realized that the World has twisted the true meaning of this season.  This is the time to celebrate what Christ gave us, which was his birth into this world so that we would always be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.  We rarely focus on this part of Christmas except for the service we may attend on Christmas eve or Christmas day.  The giving we should be doing is that of our souls, to people in our lives who need more than a gift to make them smile.  They may need a hello, a hug, a letter, just something to show that they are worth more than what they can ever imagine. A Sin Offering

When will I realize that what Christ did for me was more than just defeating death. Why is it so hard to comprehend that He sacrificed Himself so that I would not have to bare my own cross.  He became a sin offering, a sacrificial lamb who by His blood we are free.  All of us even those who choose not to believe were covered by His sacrifice. Now they must choose what He has to offer, but it is there for them. God’s love is unconditional and His grace is unexplainable.  I want to take this time in my life and understand what He sacrificed and see myself upon that cross and realize I will NEVER suffer that death because His blood was shed for me and you. AMEN AND AMEN… SELAH
