The King Of Glory

We have a God who’s glory reigns all over the Earth and Heavens.  He is in constant pursuit of His Beloved, both the lost and the found, but especially the lost.  He wants for His glory to be shared with all who come before Christ.  He wants them all to know that He is the King of Kings that adores his children.  We are adopted into his royal family and protected by his Eagles wings.  Our hearts are healed and molded by him and we simply must surrender our choices.  When a King wants something they usually just take it, with our King, he gives us the choice to choose him.  Now, once we have made that choice we then transform into his image and realize our lives are not about us.  This unselfishness comes from his hand on our hearts and our faith in knowing he will take care of us.  Once we have that comfort of knowing we are cared for then we can release our fears and begin to pour into other peoples lives.  Our King of Glory is always hunting for his loved ones, he is keen in his senses and can find the deepest most wayward lost sheep their is.  However, even in all his glory that lost soul still has a choice.  Thank you Lord for finding me deep in my darkness over 7 years ago and reaching down into that pit to pull me out once I realized I had no where else to go.  You are My King of Glory and I choose to live for you… Jesus Freak for Life!!! Amen…

his unfailing love

How incredible is it to know that Jesus’ love for us will never fail.  He will be with us as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death.  His desire is to see us mature in his unfailing love.  He wants to see us grow as we would watch our children grow.  His whole purpose for us following him is not to make him the center of attention, rather it is so he can draw nearer to us.  He knows that in order for us to experience this unfailing love we must live our life being created in his image.  Only through living close to how Christ did allows us the type of intimacy Jesus requires.  He is constantly chasing us and staying in our lives.  If you ever stop to look around, you would see the miracles of life and love he performs daily.  We are always looking for these big bangs, but in the truth of Christ, he desires for us to slow down and hear his still and quiet voice.  His choices for us are to strengthen us and bless us and even through our darkest hours he can shine His light. There is so much in this world that can bring us down and also there is so much good stuff in this world we can sometimes lose our focus on our relationship with Jesus.  It is funny how our relationship with him mirrors that of our friends and as we grow closer, it mirrors the relationships of our loved ones.  I have been trusting God lately in my life with everything and just have been openly ready to see what he requires.  My time with him is becoming more and more relational and less and less HAVE TO.  My life with Christ, through reading, prayer and meditation is full speed ahead and has become a WANT TO in my life.  I will lay all of my trust in Jesus because it is through the unfailing love of the the Most High that I will not be shaken.  Amen!

MY KING!

JESUS, I MAKE YOU MY KING! ALLOW ALL MY CHOICES TO PASS THROUGH YOUR GRACE AND SOVEREIGNTY.  GIVE ME PEACE AND STRENGTH TO KNOW THAT YOUR LOVE FOR ME IS NEVER ENDING AND THAT I MAY SHARE THAT WITH ALL THAT CROSS MY PATH.  MAY I BE RECOGNIZED AS BEING ONE OF YOURS AND FROM YOUR KINGDOM! AMEN!
