Prayer for Healing and Endurance

Papa,
we thank you for the wisdom given to the doctors to save Brett’s life. We ask that this would be the obstacle that Brett needed to overcome and now his body would heal quickly and completely. We ask that you would be with him and prepare his mind, soul and emotions as he wakes. Lord we pray for complete healing of his organs, muscles and body. Please Lord, restore his spirit every moment as he is fighting. We ask that the Holy Spirit would continue to comfort him and bring him peace and visions of his Family as he rest.

Papa,
we lift up Susan and pray for your embrace on her and baby Stella. We ask Lord that she finds comfort in you during this time. She has been strong and needs more strength from you. Lord, I pray that I may stand in the gap for the moments that seem to hard to handle so that she and his family can hold onto you. Papa, as this battle continues we know you will and have received all the glory. Please Lord, be with his family and with me and all those who are praying to have the endurance to realize we need to continue our prayers. This we should do for all those who are suffering and fighting for their lives. Thank you Lord as you are the trailblazer for us and we are following a path of true and complete Faith. Amen and Amen

Continual Prayer for Brett

I was on my phone when I got the news, driving and listening to God! Confirming his answer in that update. The update said the infection was located and they cleaned it out. Also, because of the poor blood flow that may have caused the infection it also did not allow the infection to travel through his body, AMEN.  Now, I cannot tell you how many times I have praised Jesus in this past week, but I know its in the thousands and that is probably just today. I pray for strength for Susan and a calmness for her and baby Stella, I pray for Strength and endurance for Greta and for Denise as they are at the front lines everyday. Thank you Lord for all of the support and continue all of your miracles with Brett. Lord let him rest and let the infection be dissolved by the antibiotics, break up the clots Lord and bring his body rest and continued strength. I pray as he sleeps he would have visions of his wife Susan, son Jason and baby girl to be Stella laughing and playing, as well as all his Family Mom, Dad, Sister and Brother. Thank you Papa!

Also my dear friends God has spoken loudly and wisely, please send me pray request for your loved ones in need of prayer. We are hear for God’s Beloved! Thank you all for your continued prayer for our Brave Man, Brett Parks.

Sobering!

The past week has taught me a lot about prayer and the power of it.  More so it has taught me that life is sobering when someone you love is unexpectedly injured, attacked or taken home to be with the Lord.  I have come to understand that we need endurance when it comes to prayer and we can never let up.  God will constantly place people on your heart to pray for.  I can see why the Devil uses sin, to keep us drunk and not focused on life.  When you think about it, our sin keeps us focused on us and swimming in shame and guilt.  This incident, with my dear friend and brother Brett, has been a sobering moment in my life.  It is a life changer.  This is the second person in my life that I love dearly that was very hurt and sick, but in this case God has chosen to listening to our begging for his life and honored it.   I realize every moment matters because the phrase “it will never happen to me” just doesn’t hold any truth.  Having a sober spirit in Christ increases your intimacy with him and your discernment of who needs praying for and for what to say.  Being sober allows the Holy Spirit to use you as a vessel to reach others and you get to feel the power of prayer.  God is a good God and chose to honor our pleas and so in this we must fight to stay sober in the spirit because we never know, in what moment, we may take our last breath.  Please my friends continue your prayers for Brett Parks as he is fighting moment by moment for his life.  Pray that his wife stays calm as she is ready to give birth in the next month and Pray for his family.  Thank you Papa and give us all endurance to persevere through this fight and all others that Life throws our way.

One Love, One King, All Christ!
