HEAVY HEART

It doesn’t seem fair that I can laugh and smile today! My Heart is heavy as it has been in these previous child tragedies, before Newtown, Conn., over the past few weeks. As my brain tries to comprehend the incomprehensible. The Connecticut massacre weighs heavily on my heart as the holidays are tough for those who have lost loved ones, but to lose them like that, breaks me!  The Teachers of Sandy Brook who Sacrificed themselves are my HEROINES! My Prayers, Heart and Soul go out to all the families who lost their babies and to the families of the teachers who sacrificed their lives for their students! I will not forget the Police officers shown running into the school with no second thoughts, not knowing what was waiting, just knowing they had children to save!  I leave you with tears in my eyes, knowing there is no road to recovery, but there are the beautiful memories of each of the souls that were lost.

My Christmas and Advent Poem

You chose to be born a man
To endure every burden we face
For us to be like you is the plan
When we fall we are covered by your Grace

Though you knew in your last hour
That your life was going to perish
Jesus, you summoned your father’s power
For our souls you wanted to cherish

My Refuge and my Fortress
Our Savior and our Friend
All my sins I wish to confess
To enter Heaven in the end

Though on the cross is where he passed
He was ascending to Heaven above
His pain shall never be surpassed
That way we experience his infinite love

Jesus desires to have my heart
So my sins to him I have given
Thank you for my brand new start
This means he left nothing unforgiven

Life gets busy

Hello I know it has been a while, but it seems as if life has pushed the fast forward button on me.  I am just realizing how fast this life passes us by.  I do not want to miss out on the opportunities that God places before me.  I am hoping to share these moments with someone that God places in my life and with my friends and family.  I want to make every moment count.  I have always allowed my coaching to interrupt my life.  It has caused me to miss out on a lot of good moments.  Now, I love coaching and have many great memories and will continue to coach, but I do not want to miss out on the relationships God has created in my life.  I know he is constantly calling us and staying with us,  its nice when he decides to let us lay in green pastures, but right now, he is walking with me through the valley of the shadow of death.  This is a good thing, the fact that there is a shadow means there is light and that light is Jesus.  I am making it a point in my life to slow down some and see what God has made, not just the beauty of this earth but the relationships in my life.  I pray and hope that each of you gets to enjoy every moment with your loved ones, friends and family.  Be blessed and know Jesus is Lord over All.

One Love, One King, All Christ!
