One Battle, Two Battles, Three Battles More!

This life is a war when it comes to the spiritual realm. I know many of us do not like to dig to deep into this area, but Christ makes significant reference to it.  As we draw nearer to God, the battles increase and the tactics are Oh So cunning.  You see we play a part in our choices and must remind ourselves daily to not feed our flesh and temptations.  What I must learn is to not even dabble in it a bit, because just the tiniest of drop and the bottom could drop out from Underneath me!!  You see we will enjoy this life as Christ followers regardless of victory or suffering because ultimately our treasures are waiting for us in Heaven. So friends, I lift this decree up to you and say I will fight every battle with Jesus in my heart and my fellow Beloved of God at my sides.  Overwhelming shall become more than enough because Simply Jesus says he is!

One Love, One King, All Christ!

Be Free in Who God made you to be

Freedom to be You

This is freedom in my eyes
Freedom to live as me
There is no need to live a lie
The only thing that matters is what God sees

Freedom came at a serious cost
However, we did not pay
He died for ALL who are lost
In which only three days did he lay

What we do with our Freedom
Makes us into who we are
We can fall short or Glorify the Kingdom
Either way his love is never far

No longer am I bound
With his grace my red becomes white
On the cross he was crowned
To bequeath to me my divine right

His death was caused by our wrong choices
This guilt sometimes pushes us away
The truth is Jesus continuously rejoices
As we come for his mercy as we pray

He wants a love affair with you
This choice is yours to make
Only come being real and true
Not simply for his name-sake

Trust in Jesus with all your heart
And not once a week at a pew
Rather a daily commitment before you depart
Then everyday there is Freedom to be You!
