For I am Persuaded (Romans 8:38:39)

God’s love for us comes through many a promise
All secured through Christ on the cross
It brings to our soul a sense of calmness
Very much a gain for all and in no way our loss

There is nothing that can separate us from His love
Not a demon nor an angel can interfere with our heart
Nothing can separate us from beneath or above
nor can anything in creation set us apart

As we choose to believe we must choose to obey
For if, my friends, our lives follow God’s rules
Through obedience and supplication as we pray
The thought that we can be lost is left to fools

For I am persuaded that God truly chose me
As he longs to choose each of you
Do not let God’s discipline cause you to flee
Trust his whispers are for your divine breakthrough

He Is In Me!!

The Holy Spirit is with me, in me. I have known this for a long time but honestly I chose to not listen to Him. I thought I could handle my stuff and do what I wanted!! What a waste of so much time where I could have been spending that time led by the Holy Spirit. I read the Bible and see how He led so many people and always protecting them. I struggle and I beg for help but know that I really don’t want help I just want to feel something for that moment of regret!!

God set the Holy Spirit to be with us so we can live life abundantly. He has it so we can serve him and step out in faith for him and he takes care of us. I have made so many selfish decisions over these several years from my language to my attitude. Yet never stopping to think that I am grieving the Holy Spirit who is in me!! He is my counselor, protector and friend and here I am turning to the flesh and sin to fill a hurt when God is right there with me!!!

Please know that if you know Jesus take the next step and know the Holy Spirit!! I am learning so much about Him and His desire to have a relationship with us!! He wants us to come to Him and hang out with Him!!! Listen to what makes sense in life and more than likely that is the Holy Spirit talking to you!!! I surrender my selfishness and choose to follow Him.
