THIS WAS ON MY HEART TODAY

RIGHTEOUS GLORY

Jesus is the only Righteous One
Through our faith this we must confess
So that our souls would not be orphaned
He was crucified in weakness

Our weakness is born into our flesh
Conviction disciplines the soul
Through Christ our souls are refreshed
Breaking the bondage, making us whole

Living for Jesus means to die
Die to all Earthly things
Live to Glorify the Most High
Our Righteous, Crucified, Faithful King

Give when you have nothing
Pour out when you are blessed
A song of deliverance you should sing
For you are free and no longer oppressed

Bleed in prayer for the nations
The weak, the orphan, the lost, the poor
Reveal your obedient Heart for coming generations
Pray for our persecution to increase evermore

Trust that your strength comes from above
From our Saviors lips he says do not worry
Suffer and persevere for His love
And like Jesus you will experience Righteous Glory

It’s Not worth Losing

Everyday we are tempted to do things we know we shouldn’t do.  We as humans tend to fall to these temptations because of how they make us feel.  A lot of times when we’re down or overwhelmed we want to medicate.  Instead of praying and working through the pain, we typically just medicate.  We do that thing that numbs us to the World and make it all about us.  You see what I have learned about the Human Being is we are all pretty much about ourselves when we do not seek God.  Even good people who don’t know God a lot of times want you to know all of the good their doing.  Now that is not necessarily a horrible thing, but it can become misleading.  We have to, including myself, understand that what Jesus offers us is NOT WORTH LOSING.  He doesn’t just offer us salvation, which should have been enough, but he also wants to be apart of our lives.  When we make decisions, when we cry and when we laugh.  He loves us dearly and yet even though we know it, a lot of times we just leave him at the cross.  Its not until conviction or consequence happens when we realize what we are doing.  So, the question is How do we change our lives to not be all about me.  There is no simple answer or magic, it takes hard work and perseverance.  It takes learning how to care for others to just simply care about others.  Now lets make something clear here, the reason you are not making your life all about you, is because Jesus is making His all about you.  There is someone who is putting your needs and desires at the front of the line.  Jesus is the reason we can relax and release our burdens so that others may see him.  I can tell you one of my favorite ways to describe Jesus working in our lives is to say Let people see Christ shine through you.  One of my dearest friends in my life told me that right before a mission trip to Nicaragua and I can tell you those simple words made a difference.  I urge you my friends as you walk close with Christ and know that this is a battle, we are going to win some and lose some, but Ultimately the war and the Race are won.  LET CHRIST SHINE THROUGH YOU!!!  Because of everything he offers us and has set for us, we must let it be real, real enough to know IT’S NOT WORTH LOSING!!! AMEN &AMEN!!

My Heart

This is a great time of year even with all the heaviness of loss.  There is something about trusting Christ, finally truly trusting him.  He has met me at my sadness and in my time of trial.  He continually stands strong by me.  He says I love you and I will always provide for you.  We read it and we hear it but until we finally experience it, there is nothing like it.  I want to live my life in a way that changes how other people choose to live.  Whether this be through preaching, coaching or whatever door God opens I want it to be all about him.  I have learned our hearts can be dangerous things, but on the other side of that danger is a refuge like none other.  King David puts its best hen he says we can take refuge under Jesus’ wings.  He is speaking of the robe or tallit  that Jesus wore and when we are in times of need Jesus would cover us in those time.  This is how I feel right now in my life.  As many opportunities begin to show themselves and my anxiety rises, I can feel Jesus covering me in his embrace and warming my heart in line with his.  Thank you for always chasing after me and keeping your hand on my life.  I will continue to honor you and worship you with all My Heart, My Soul and My Might! Amen!!
