God’s Promise in Psalms 91:11

Psalms 91 is my life prayer and has been for many years. Psalms 91 has every promise that God offers us! Today, I want to focus on verse 11. As you see from the image, He gives his angels Charge over us and cover and protect us in all our ways. This is a day that many of us have only seen in movies and are still not in full belief that the World and Economy as we know it are shutting down. Many of us feel the fear this brings and many of us feel alone, even as we sit at home with our families. Then on the other hand there are many of us who take it very lightly. Regardless of our attitude towards the COVID-19 virus, God’s promises always hold true.

There is nothing that changes or sways God’s word and as believers our faith in His word. I truly believe Psalms 91 and that God will watch over and protect us. It doesn’t mean we can be irresponsible and not follow protocol. However, it does mean we need to pray and trust that He will keep his promise. I lived many years battling my worth and God’s love for me but He has shown me over and over again, that I matter to Him. Whether it be a quiet thought or people He has placed in my crown life. My hope for you is you can allow God to meet you wherever you are right now in this Pandemic. The vaccination you need is in Psalms 91. Read it, trust it, walk around your house praying it and know that He will keep His promise!

Keep Safe, Keep Healthy and Follow the plans that have been put in place. If you feel sick, get help and treatment and start your prayer of Psalms 91. I am praying for you, my friends! Place your Trust in Jesus and allow God to keep His promises to you!

When and Where?

When and where will it happen is a thought that every human has. There is no getting away from the question. The problem is the answer because we rarely ever know it. We ask this question for our personal life, financial life, social life, work life and ultimately life itself, especially when we have loved ones who are hurting or have become ill.

If you ever want to know how faith works think of one of your when and where questions and sit in it. When those nerves come and the thoughts that are overwhelming begin, PAUSE, and it is in that moment you find your Faith. We are not supposed to know the answer for some of those questions, but we are supposed to live life and live it to the full. I am not living life to full by any means, but I am striving for making that a priority. God is real and He will show up. That is something I have learned in my life regardless of the outcome. You see we live too much in the World and what “they” say our lives should look like and believe me I know how easy it is to follow that trend, even knowing Christ.

When and where will it happen? This is a question I didn’t even think about with my mom. You see as her son I lived believing she would always be around and in that I believe I missed out on some extra awesome moments, but when she was taken home with Jesus it was unexpected. This is one of those situations that will challenge your faith, whether it is a friend or family member. It brings thoughts that start to cloud your thinking and whispers that challenge your faith. You dig deep and reach for that light of Christ in the hope you can give it all to him. Giving Jesus the outcome of any situation is not easy for human nature, but it is for a Child Of The Most High! Remembering God will show up, in His time, but He will show up.

When and Where will it happen? I ask this for myself when it comes to a romantic relationship. Where is she and when will I meet her? I think about it and now the same faith I live knowing Christ loves me needs to be the same faith I live knowing he will allow me to cross paths with my future wife. I am thankful for a God who is real and has made a difference in my life. Joyce Meyers has a book called beauty from ashes and I think that happens to all of our souls when we battle the when and where questions in our life. God and Christ and The Holy Spirit are Ignited in those moments and long for us to have Faith!

In the end, Just know my dear Friends, GOD WILL SHOW UP!!

When your friend with Cancer supports you!

So one of my friends I have had the privilege to meet at work was diagnosed with cancer recently. She truly loves the Lord and has been putting all her faith into him.  However, here is the lady, who is a wife and mother and has her own family and dealing with her life issues and she calls me to see if I am ready for my wisdom teeth to get pulled.  She took the time out of her day to call and ask and say man you should not be dealing with this alone.  Not only did she call before the surgery and gave me great tips on how to manage after.  She also called me the next couples days after to see how I was doing.  I mean we look at life and we worry about bills being paid or someone called us a name or we feel like the world is against us when there is Nothing wrong with us really.  Then someone God places in your life, someone you are praying for and the hope they will be healed and that person is praying for you!!  God’s love and peace are amazing and keep me in awe.  This has helped me to keep my eyes on Jesus and look at life through a different lens.  AMEN!
