The Tomb is Empty!
Those words must have been the sweetest to hear on that 3rd day. I can only imagine all the doubt that was spread across the Jesus believers. Here they stand, hiding and worried about what will happen to them. Their savior is dead and many of them must have been hoping that what Jesus said would come true. When I think about it, it must have been so hard because those that were at his Crucifixion saw him die, carried his body and laid him to rest. The grief must have been so heavy and their hope and faith in their Messiah and friend must have withered a lot. Now, it is the third day and as they approach his burial, they come to realize that His tomb is empty. Jesus not only kept his promise to rise from the dead, but he also kept his promise to each one of His Beloved from that day to this day. Our sins and sentence to death has been Paid in Full! When I think of the day and when I say it out loud to myself ” The Tomb is Empty!!” I get goose bumps because it brings power to my faith. God’s heart for us is one of true longing and we are all so dear to his heart and as Jesus says love each other as I have loved you. Well, my friends we must be willing to sacrifice in our lives not only for our friends, but for our enemies. Jesus showed us on that Cross, which was truly our cross to bare! Remember each day that Christ did for you on the cross so that you can do for others and most importantly know that you are His Beloved and He sees all of us who have and will accept Him as Blameless and Pure. AMEN and AMEN!
