The Great I AM..

Whenever you hear this you never really stop to let this statement sink in.  GOD says I am the Great I AM.  Which means he is everything and all things.  He is the reason for every season both on this Earth and in our lives.  He cannot be wrong and cannot make a mistake.  We are his creations and molded into his image. Our every move and decision is seen by the Great I AM.  He watches as we live and he can intercede at any moment.  His hand is never far and we can always count on his embrace.  The Great I AM is here and will not retreat… He is our King and he champions all of our burdens.  He allows us to know we will go through storms and heaviness but he will carry it for us like he did for Christ.  However, we must learn to persevere through our choices and persecution to know that Christ is the answer.  He will be by our side no matter where we are… and just Like Jesus we have at our call Legions of Angels that will keep our feet from hitting a stone… Amen!

Staying in Faith

I am struggling with this phrase.  It is something I cannot avoid, I must learn to stay in my faith no matter how I feel or what people are trying to do. Ultimately, it all happens in God’s timing, that especially includes his justice.  There is something about us as humans that just wants us to take care of the wrongs that are done to us.  However, that is where Christ comes in and says, wait…. I have something more important for you to do, yes I know this person hurt you, but release that and stay in me.  Trust me is what God says, for us to trust him in all aspects of our life.  Wherever we are in our life he makes a teaching moment.  I want my life to reflect that he is doing that right now.  I want my goals, troubles, storms and victories to be laid at his feet.  I want to glorify him in my times of happiness, sadness, depression and anger.  I want him to be the sobering force that allows me to know those feelings are just lies and stumbling blocks to keep me from being closer to him.  This doesn’t mean we let people walk on us or over us, but what it does mean is that we are no longer to submit to those feelings and we are to submit the truth of Christ.  This christian life is not easy because their is no magic wand, we have to sit through our stuff and let God come to us.  A lot of times we run when we feel and forget to stay in our Faith.  However, when we learn to turn to him as our friend, counselor and King, we can truly see him work.  Spending time with him is so important and not solely because of obedience, but because of LOVE.  My goal to STAY IN MY FAITH is to Fall in Love with JESUS.. I want to be IN LOVE with him instead of just saying I know he loves me.  I have a friend that as he prays he talks about claiming it in Jesus name, well here is what I want to claim…. I want to be IN LOVE with Jesus… Amen and Amen…

Good morning

I really have never taken the time to realize why we should always say good morning.  I take that for granted probably like I take a lot of areas of my life.  We fall asleep and are not aware of anything going on around us, yet we breath and our body functions to keep us alive. More importantly we wake up and take that first breath, realizing we are awake and alive.  I know there are days when we just don’t want to get up or we feel sick or just like there is no point.  However, even in those situation we need to realize that every morning is a good one.  Especially, when we have the opportunity to see what God has in store for us on that day.  Our lives may be filled with trials or even consequences from our past sin, but we still need to stay obedient and trust in Christ that he will make the day glorified for him.  When you think about it, the morning time is the best time for your body to perform.  People lose weight faster in the morning, they read better in the morning, pretty much every one’s body can perform better in the morning.  I think God’s point for me in writing this is do not take for granted our every breath, do not be afraid to take chances, because you never know when it will be your last.  So whether, your morning is in the morning or in the evening because you work at  night, take it all in everyday and allow God to be the anchor that keeps your hopes, dreams, and life where he wants it to be instead of letting life bash around with it’s uncontrolled and vicious current.  Praise be to Jesus for giving us the chance to wake fresh everyday with the ability to thank him and glorify moment by moment… Amen!
