Amazing, Awesome and Most Powerful God

My God is an awesome God…  The three dots indicating that it goes on forever.  I cannot tell you how peaceful his embrace feels, but can only observe it in those that need it most.  It doesn’t matter what your struggle or victory, He is apart of it fully.  I stop and look around the World and realize that my struggles and difficulties do not even compare to those around me.  I can wake up and not be fearful for losing my life for my beliefs.  I live in a country where we take for granted the greatness of God.  However, If we stop and look at the World around us it amazes me to see the beauty of his creation.  He takes care of it all.  We must remember Life will do what it does and the Evil one will constantly find ways to hurt us and attack us, but when we rest in the Almighty, no matter how crazy life is or how much it hurts, He is there.  I find the most comfort in Him when I do not know what the answer is and in most cases that is always.  When God finally settles on our hearts we can move forward and allow him to love on us when we need it most.  The toughest of times comes when we get back to normal and forget the hurt that brought us there.

Jesus, I Am Yours and You Are Mine!

There has never been a time in my life where Jesus wasn’t mentioned.  Whether it was as a child by my mom or as an adult from people he placed in my path.  The constant message of his love was that I was HIS.  I can remember the moment I accepted him and then realized there was more to this than just saying the words, I wanted to know.  Mainly, I wanted to know that I truly was His.  The blessings of our life can come in so many ways and when you stop and look at life you realize that he is there for both the good and the bad.  It is how we lean on him that determines the outcome of our situations.  I love the saying “seeing is not believing, but Believing is seeing!”  WOW, those words sink to my heart because I am someone who always tried to handle it on my own.  I sit there and pray about it but already know the direction I am going to take.  Then out of the blue I get a message that says be patient when God is quiet, let him work and trust in his understanding of what you desire.  I love Jesus and want to be growing in deeper love with him every moment.  I encourage you, as I have, to sing praises to Jesus.  My voice is one only Jesus could love but I use it to its max singing,  “Jesus, I Am Yours and You Are Mine!!!”  over and over and over again.  The peace that transcends over my body and soul as I give him the glory is so satisfying and real.  Even to be weak in your Faith gives God a chance to be strong in your life.  He tells us Faith the size of a mustard seed can move Mountains… MOUNTAINS!!  Amen!!

Doesn’t miss a beat!

I am God’s Beloved and there is nothing I can do to change that.  Even if I had never chosen to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior I would still be His Beloved child.  Those that are lost and do not know God are not forgotten, but carry a heavy burden on Jesus’s heart.  He loves us so much and when someone chooses not to believe I cannot even imagine the agony that must be felt knowing that soul will die.  When you think of God, he created each of us, man and woman, in the image of Christ.  We all have the ability to love, care, show mercy and grace.  However, because the World is not ours but the Evil one’s we have to battle to let our new nature in Christ shine.  It is so easy to sin and to make selfish choices, but takes someone who has truly been broken to trust Christ with all of who they are.

That is a great question to ask yourself and you must be specific in how you word it.  You cannot ask yourself who you believe you are because we will typically answer from our brokenness and deliberately not see past the lies.  We must ask the question, ” What does God think of me?” Now that can be scary and if we don’t know he is a loving and merciful God we may answer ignorantly.  The truth is, as I have said before, to come as you are.  He doesn’t say come to me after you have accepted me, he says come.   When we are able to make that distinction in our life it is usually when we have hit rock bottom and have no where else to turn.  If only we did the things we were supposed to when we received the advice to do it.  I am a culprit of learning the hard way and traditionally not truly letting God love on me.  I have become a lot better in receiving compliments and realizing God has created me to share who he is through me.  There are so many gifts that Jesus has planted within us.  The devil knows this and makes sure to shackle us up so that we don’t even feel, see or attempt to say we are blessed with gifts from God.  It can be as simple as giving a good hug.  The Holy Spirit is amazing and a gift can be as simple as making someone feel comforted through that touch.  The healing of God and the ways he chooses to show that will vary.  The one thing that does not vary or ever change is HOW MUCH HE LOVES YOU!  There is a rhythm to life and God sets that rhythm and because of that and His choice to take all of our pain and sin upon himself, He never misses a beat.  Choosing to follow and trust him can be hard, but once we do, our song(life) will play to His beat! (heart beat) AMEN.

One Love, One King, All Christ!
