Day 4 Nicaragua
This was hands down an amazing and pure God day. We came together at a local house and it was a house of prayer. So we walk up to the second floor and everyone takes a seat. We are a large group and nearly took up every inch of that place. We started off with a word from God by a 82 year old man named brother Alvin and followed up with some worship music. This is were it changed. I mean the Holy Spirit took over. As we were praying I would look around and God started to put on my heart who needed prayer. We started praying for our team and in an awesome way, we anointed them with oil and laid our hands on them. It was beautiful to see Him work. Words cannot express the feeling of seeing these young teenagers surrender themselves and the adults. They allowed God into their brokenness. It was so an experience with the one true God, He allowed healing and satan had no influence in that room. Praise God for what He is doing here in Nicaragua, we as His Beloved are so taken care of. It has placed a fire in my heart that needed to be refueled from so many years ago. Now, the last part of this day was so healing for a small group of us. There were 6 of us who stayed after our devotionals and for whatever reason, God wanted us to laugh and did we ever. It was so much fun, the kind of laughter that hurts your jaws and your gut. He was so amazing because I seriously feel like that moment was for the young little man who struggles with fitting in. Well for this moment in his life he was King and you could see how happy he was to make others laugh. It was also for me because that was the first time I have laughed so hard and so unhindered since my mom passed almost 3 years ago. Surrending to Christ is very humbling, healing, powerful and peaceful. God is showing up everywhere we go and He is persistently telling me that He loves me and wants my cup that He has given me to begin to overflow so that the love he shows me may touch others that Jesus places in my path.. Selah!
