The day the Lord has made
One of the things that crosses my mind every once and a while is what Heaven will be like. I can only imagine how incredible it must be to have Jesus physically embrace you. The thought that I can hang out with him and that we would be able to spend time together is amazing. I am so excited about being able to sing and worship Him and be in His presence. I also am excited to see my mom again. The amazing thing about when she passed was the look on her face. As she laid there on the hospital bed all of her wrinkles were gone. She was 72 years old and she looked 35. I asked several doctors and nurses if any of the medications they used could cause that, but they all said no. I mean I knew it was a God thing, she looked so peaceful and knowing that she finally got to see Jesus face to face was awesome. I cannot wait for the day the Lord has made. A time for laughter and worship and fellowship. The ability to just love one another as Christ intended. As I get up every morning I just remember to thank Him for every moment, being that this life is not mine to live, I cannot be selfish and try to put me first. In order to experience a little of Heaven on Earth, I believe you have to serve and sacrifice, you must be willing to give of yourself and practice relational ministry. It is only through pouring into others that you can truly experience the Christ within yourself. I think we can get a taste of the day the Lord has made throughout our lives on Earth. Amen and Amen!
