My time has come to make a stand
Letting God take control
I need to remember he is at my right hand
For He has Redeemed my broken soul
My time of choosing to run away
Must stop as God heals my heart
On bended knee I must begin to pray
Because of the cross we will never be apart
He tells me that His will is done
And I realized more that he chose me
For I am his Beloved adopted son
That is covered by the Trinity
One Love is what God created
A Love that only He truly can give
Many in the World say this can be debated
However, He is also the only God to forgive
He has forgiven us all of our sin
There is nothing that he will not release
One Love has been woven deep within
It is here that we find God’s grace and peace
One King is whom I shall submit to
For my life is no longer mine
His sacrifice was for me and you
We are adopted into the Heavenly bloodline
This King has conquered all
Every knee shall Bow when he speaks
Under His reign Satan will Fall
Giving us power when we are weak
All Christ is what fills my heart
Nourishing my mind and soul
His promise is we shall never part
To him I surrender all control
His desire is to see me shine
To see Christ wherever I am

My life devoted to the Lion and the Lamb
Every year now for the last 11 years I get an entire summer off. It is such an amazing feeling, but even more so this Summer. This is the Summer I can devote to spending time with God when I am not doing football or wrestling practices. It is a time when I can write and actually finally finish the 2 books I started writing so many years ago. I have always used Summer as a time to just sit back and be lazy. A time to enjoy the keys and take naps ( Yes, I do not have any Children yet, so naps still happen!) God has placed it on my heart to write about a special book idea in particular, one that will reach many hearts, both men and women. I am excited as I have started to listen to God’s voice and go in the direction he is sending me. I want more opportunities to let Christ shine, I want to have fun with people, speak in front of crowds, laugh, dance and sing! Shoot I want to be undignified for Christ. I do not want to let this Summer go as usual. It is time to truly enjoy God the way he intended for his Beloved. I know the more I want to do for God, the better the programs on TV are going to be, or the stronger the nap time is going to feel. However, these distractions are simply that, things in the way of me getting to know Christ that much better and keeping his word from healing those that read what I write. I am thankful for a God who says He loves me and then does everything in his power to make sure I know it. This Summer is dedicated to Him and in a way that the time I spend will not be wasted, but used to glorify Jesus in my everyday life. One Love, One King, All Christ!
