EVERY RED LIGHT!! PRAY!!

This is to all those Prayer Warriors out there and to ALL who pray.  Please pray for Maria Lavergne, she is a mother of one of my closest friends of 20 years.  She had a stroke and he is in Afghanistan.  Please pray for God’s healing on her and peace for him and that God would intervene so that he could travel to come see her. Pray that God may reach out to her and his brother and they would come to be saved and know that Jesus is real.  Already in one day she has squeezed his brothers hand and moved her leg, they are working on taking her of the respirator machine today, so PLEASE Keep praying and start if you haven’t.  A really cool way of praying for her would be at every red light you stop at, lift her up in prayer!  EVERY RED LIGHT!!!  SELAH!

What is the foundation of your Altar!

We walk through life and carry the things that happen to us.  We all have Altars and each Altar has a foundation that it is built on.  The problem that happens to us is when we accept Christ, a lot of times we just place him as a part of our Altar and not the foundation.  How do we do this?  The question is easy to ask but the process is hard to swallow.  We have to take who we believe we are and release all of it to God.  By doing that our Altar is destroyed and then we can create a new one that God helps design. You see what priest of old times did to build their Altar’s was search for each perfect stone.  They used no tools to build their Altar’s or shape the stones they found.  This gave them quality relational time with God.  We need that in our life, we need to recognize what our foundation is and then ask God after revealing it, that he would destroy it.  When our Altar’s foundation is based on Christ, what grows from it is Christ’s love and Grace.  Therefore, as my Pastor says we move from saying ” King Me” to ” Serve Him.”  I have learned that we as humans have within us a Throne and a Cross, it is our choice of who or what we put in each of those.  We must choose to place Christ in the throne because he has already defeated the cross and we must sacrifice our old self, flesh and sinful nature on that cross.  Amen & Amen

My Heart is Yours!

Days like these seem forever long
Especially as my past regrets whisper in
This feeling can make us feel we don’t belong
Even the toughness of our perseverance wears thin

Sitting and waiting to hear your still and quiet voice
Has me running from thoughts of my past
Asking and wondering to myself how you made your choice
As the Hound of Heaven you chased down this outcast

Through all I have done to turn away from you
You have always ended up back in my face
Persistently whispering what you believe about yourself is untrue
Remember my Beloved you are covered by my Grace

My heart becomes troubled and I feel it in my chest
It is so hard to accept your love for me
Truthfully, because of you I am no longer oppressed
But yet at times from my flesh I do not choose to flee

I will starve the Monster and the Lion I will feed
For my strength will come as the Lion roars
As Christ shines others shall see that I have been truly freed
My God, My Father, My Savior… My heart is yours!

Amen!
