When we step into the world as adults many of us have experienced many types of darkness in our lives. We are not unscathed or unburdened. This world is run by an entity that has no morals, dignity or care in the world for any living thing, especially the Beloved of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. In Malachi 3 verse 6, God say… I AM THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT! As a believer, this is a beautiful statement, because it means every promise that is made by God to us will come to pass.
Our Lord says He loves us and adores us and will walk with us through every event on our life. Every moment we have from conception to walking with Him Heaven. He is with us!! The bible says we are created in Christ’s image and we have the Holy Spirit within us to guide us and mold us into the men and women of God we were born to be. When I read that the Lord does not change that reminds me of the attitude that Jesus took to the cross. He had opportunity to change his mind and I believe His Father in heaven would have understood, but Jesus chose not to change what was to be done. He chose not to change because of YOU and ME!!! He loves us and when we see it from the outside we want it, but when we experience from within our first reaction to to run from it.
Many of us grow up struggling with believing we deserve to be loved and cared for. So, when this amazing love comes upon us our brokenness screams for us to run, too flee. Our soul knows what it desires and when we feed it what God gives us, there is a light that shines and that light forces darkness to flee and allows our souls to feel the embrace of the Holy Spirit. All the while, we are caring, praying and being there for one another.
In a time of loss it has been awesome to see the love and support my friend and her children are getting with the tragic loss of her husband and their father. When we see the family of Christians come together for another brother or sister in Christ shows us what God means when He says “I change Not!” I would give praises to my Lord and Savior Jesus for His constant pursuit of us, I will praise the Holy Spirit for embracing us and taking our tears and I will praise God the Father for making us, and for the lives of others he has divinely intertwined into ours by His love. Remember my friends, Jesus Loves you so much and with that love he has for you, you just have to come as you are and He will take you in!!!
Selah!!
One Love, One King, All Christ
