His Power

We serve under a most powerful God.  We have a God who tells the lighting when to strike and the waves where to crash.  He is the almighty and needs nothing, yet he chases after us.  His creations, he made us and knows us, but still desires to be intimate with us.  We are not forced into loving him, but we are giving the chance, all of us, to be wooed by Him.  He cares about everything in our lives, but especially our hearts and how we have been broken.  It is only through His power that we are able to withstand the attacks that come.  His per allows us to receive grace for nothing and see His mercy as we do things that deserve the utmost punishment.  Our God, sits back and allows us to know that our sins are no an issue with him, but He does desire we come to Him when we are in need, when we feel we are at rock bottom, He desires for us to trust Him and come to Him.  He provides answers to problems and doubts through people that come by in our daily lives.  His love for us allows us to know that there is no such thing as coincidence, but fate.  He has designed our lives and our experiences and prays for us daily, moment by moment.  His power is something we will never comprehend, but we need to be so Thankful to Him for His almighty power, because it is through His power that we are healed.  Surrender to the per of god and watch your life transform.  You will learn to live and love longer and stronger, even through the pains and obstacles that life continually throws at us. Amen…

we can’t give up

I know my heart and I know how I long to be the man of God that Jesus wants me to be.  I see it in my everyday life, from the thoughts that pass through to the people in my life.  This time will be for real, this will not be a time where I sabotage the good that I am doing.  I am well -known to myself for drawing near to Christ and right when things seems to fall into place with Him, I run, well I FLEE.  I am tired of running, and I am ready to face this life with Christ first.  I see all of my faults and rarely any of my strengths, even though, Jesus sends many people across my path to encourage me.  The deal is that we are lied to for so long that the lies of the bottom feeder(Satan) become true.  Our lives become so in-twined with the do’s and don’t’s of life that we forget where we started and where we are hoping to end.  The choice is not to give up and there will be no giving up, because as cliche as it may be, Our King did not give up on us when he had the choice on the cross, and as real as the day is 24 hours, I will not give up.  There is no going back to living life in secret and with lies.  I will live life with Christ first and pray for His protection over me as I walk into the fire everyday.  The heart of a true champion is not the heart that always wins, NO, it is the heart that continually chooses to heal after every time it is broken.  The heart that decides to get back up and face life again and love again, because and only because Jesus says so.  Amen and Amen!

A New ME

Every New Year brings us hope
It seems like we have another chance
A chance to stop sliding down the slope
An opportunity to reinforce our stance

From choices and attitudes that we create
As life throws all it can our way
We ask the New year for a clean slate
Praying for that “ Oh So, New Day”

God takes his time to answer our request
And we usually seem too reluctant to remain
Instead of waiting, we say to Him, May I suggest
And then we are doing it on our own again

Lord, I pray I will surrender to you
I no longer want to do it on my own
No more living life by just passing through
No more living life feeling alone

You are the God of all creation
and I ask for a new me
A me that see the ways out of temptation
The ways you provide, My Lord, God Almighty
