One Victory

I have known my burdens for so long and for that time I have always placed them first on my list of things to pray for. Now, when I do this my temptation gauge goes through the roof and my sin life increases.  It has been an amazing journey in realizing that I need to put others first and Jesus takes care of me.  I experienced a great victory the other day, one that I have known myself to be defeated by on many past occasions. This time, yes this time, I chose Jesus and he literally drew near to me as I felt the devil flee.  I am so humbled by God, He really loves me and through all the moments of my life he is there.  I have continued to learn about how sobering life can be when you lose someone you love, or when someone you love is hurt very badly.  You come to focus on them, but we must be careful, it has been in my deep prayer that I became unaware of the subtle attacks that snuck in when I was exhausted.  This is why we cannot do this life alone and need to have people close to us who can pray for us as well.  My life has been changed but nowhere near what has happened to my very close friend.  His whole life and body are new and for his wife and his family. However, during this journey I have learned of those with cancer who have lost the fight, parents who have lost young children and men my age who have died from heart attacks.  One victory cannot be enough can it?  Jesus says yes, because it is in this one victory that we can build a foundation on Christ. All it takes is one Victory which we receive in Romans 10:9 ” If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead(for your sins), you will be saved.”  Yes!! My friends this one victory is enough, but once who have Jesus he continues to make each moment of your life an opportunity for His glory to be lifted up.  Please fight for each victory and place others first.  Prayer is a Lifestyle not an Action!

One Love, One King, All Christ!

Amazing Grace (Progress for Brett)

I once was told when you finish a prayer with Amen and Amen! it gives that much more significance to the Glory of what God has Done! Well up to this point in Brett’s recovery I will say AMEN and AMEN! As our prayers continue for Brett’s healing and Susan’s strength, we need to realize God will see us through our trials. The Holy Spirit and Jesus continue to pour their mercy, love and Grace as Brett begins the long road to recovery. We must remain consistent in our prayers and as Jesus molds this event in Brett’s life into the Masterpiece of sharing the Gospel that we know is coming, We will all be able to say AMEN and AMEN!

MUST NOT CEASE!

Faithing it out!

Please friends it is in these times that we need to stand firm in our faith and pray.  We need to realize our prayers are constantly heard, but more so we must not cease.  Brett’s recovery is in God’s hands and our prayers are heard as we cry out.  We cannot stop crying out.  I do not only mean this for Brett, but for families across this World who are in need of these prayers.  Brett has been the foundation of our prayers and the hope that Christ gives us through him, gives us the endurance to continue to pray.  In our pray, Jesus is with us and the Holy Spirit reminds me of my friends fighting Cancer, My players who have lost their brothers tragically.  When the bible says life is like a vapor it becomes Truth when it effects someone we know and love.  When it is someone fighting for their life or grieving the loss of a loved one.  It is only our Faith in Christ that can carry us through.  He understands our sadness, anger, rage, depression, desperation, submission, frustration, confusion, loneliness and despair.  However, the main point of his understanding is that he has experienced every one of these things here on Earth and knows what we are going through.  Even Jesus on the cross asks His Father, Why have you Forsaken me?  This life is tough, but it is the small blessing in the bad situations that SCREAM LOUDLY that Jesus is real and God is with us.  Please friends, continue your prayers for Brett’s recovery and Susan’s strength as well as his family, but in doing so pray for all of those that the Holy Spirit places on your hearts.  Prayer is a lifestyle not an action!!

One Love, One King, All Christ!

Love Ant
